Steel, geometry, cleanliness and measurement — what we check before a bearing is packed.
Quality starts with the ring
Every bearing begins as a GCr15 chrome steel ring at 58–62 HRC. That hardness range has to survive grinding and then the life of the motor. Ring geometry — roundness, groove profile and raceway finish — is what separates a quiet bearing from a noisy one, so it is where the process starts.
Process control
Grinding and superfinishing take place in our own workshop. Each stage has a defined check before the next begins: raceway dimensions after grinding, surface finish after superfinishing, then cleaning, assembly, grease fill and sealing. A lot moves to packing only when its checks are complete.
Measurement and test
We measure with a roundness tester, a profile projector, metrology instruments and a Taylor-type surface instrument. Results are recorded against the drawing and the grade ordered. Bore, outside diameter, width, runout and surface finish are the routine checks; for OEM orders the inspection plan is agreed with the customer.
Noise grading
Bearings are supplied in ZV1, ZV2, ZV3 and ZV4, and in EMQ / CM. The noise grade describes how smoothly a bearing runs in a motor: the higher the ZV number, the tighter the requirement. Grease, cage, seal and cleanliness all affect the result, so they are chosen together with the grade rather than after it.
Documents and certificates
We hold an SGS RoHS test report (No. SHAEC1610052101, dated 17 May 2016) covering cadmium, lead, mercury, hexavalent chromium, PBBs and PBDEs against RoHS Directive (EU) 2015/863. It was issued to CIXI CHUANGWEI BEARING CO., LTD, the company's former legal name; the company now trades as Zhexing Precision Bearing. It is a test report, not a certificate.
ISO 9001, CE, SASO and PVOC documents are available on request and are supplied with export orders.
Packing and traceability
Bearings leave the factory in plastic tubes, single boxes with a plastic bag, VCI anti-rust paper and export cartons; OEM packaging and labels are available. Packing is done at a dedicated station. Carton labels carry the model, quantity and lot reference agreed for the order, so a delivery can be matched to its packing list and production record.
